The Makeup Artist At Work.

Here's some snap shots of the great makeup artists Andera Perry Beaven from Manchester working her magic in my bedroom before my photoshoot with model Martina. She also did the hair which was just fab.

Solve Sundsbo

I had known about some of Solve Sunsbo's work before hand but when looking through books in Borders I found one of his photos which I loved it was his 'Summer Whites' collection with model; Lily Cole. I found these photos on a model website in Lily Cole's porfolio of photos.
I again like how she is a red head with curls and pale skin.

Tim Walker

Tim Walkers current work in the April issue of Vogue was my main inspiration, as soon as I saw this work it really caught my eye. I really liked the magical feel to the photos which Tim Walker does a lot and uses really elaborate props, here is it very large toys to add to the theme of dolls.

I also like how the model is a red head original dolls were a lot of the time were red heads with curls and I really love the big designer dresses used, I had a look in some charity shops for dresses but no luck so far.

Mert & Marcus

I had known about Mert & Marcus's work before but when looking through there collections I found these which I thought were great inspiration.

Doll Face

As in my personal blog I had done some photos before I wen't to work and then moved onto trying some more of my doll ideas and pulling strange faces and then later playing in photoshop to making me look like a doll.
I was rather pleased with the outcome and really like the photo but still not sure if it is a definate for the final major project don't know how many photos I could do of this style.
